2025 Classes

Kindy Gym - 1.5-4 year olds. Parent/Caregiver Participation Required

This class requires parents to be involved to assist their children through the activities guided by the coach. Parents must stay with the their child throughout the entire class. During this time the children will do a warm up, two 10 minutes circuits and a cool down. The children will develop their gross motor, fine motor and sensory skills

Kindergym proves children learn best through exploring and discovering their abilities through physical activity. Kindergym ensures that children aged between 2-4 year olds can experience a wide-range of movement activities and be encouraged to think, create, construct and solve problems with their own bodies. Kindergym relies on equipment set ups that are safe, stimulating and provide endless movement opportunities for children to play, explore and learn. Kindergym also assists in child development, co-ordination and self-esteem. Kindergym is founded on child development principles. The program promotes the child as the key focal point and involves active participation of the child's mother, father or carer.

Recreation Classes 4.5+ years

Our Recreation Classes are for school aged children, aged 4.5 and up, who wish to learn basics of gymnastics.

Each child will be graded within these classes between 6 different coloured grades. White, Silver, Orange, Yellow, Blue and Purple.

The children in each timeslot will warm up together and then be split into groups based on their grade colour which is a combination of age and ability.

Children participate in a range of activities, using gymnastics equipment, to develop general fine motor and gross motor skills, as well as level appropriate gymnastics specific skills. This is the prerequisite class for the intermediate classes.

Recreation Grading Sessions

Grading Sessions are run each term around weeks 2-9. This is a great way to get some feedback on a child's progress as well as if they are ready to move up into the next colour range.  Each grading sessions is a one on one 10-15 minutes with a senior coach to assess the quality of each of the skills the child has been learning in class. â€‹â€‹
